2x4 Hybrid Gong Hangers

The 2x4 Hybrid Gong Hangers slide directly over a standard 2x4 crossmember, giving you a simple way to hang steel gong targets without drilling or permanently mounting hardware to the lumber. Each hanger is CNC laser-cut from domestic 1/4" AR400 steel and can be repositioned along the 2x4 to adjust target spacing. These hangers are designed specifically for 2x4 gong target stands. Made in the USA.

Use the hangers with steel chain for heavier gong targets or rubber chain and quick links for smaller setups. Pair them with the 2x4 Gong Stand Brackets to build a complete all-wood 2x4 target stand. Assembly

Slide each hanger directly over a standard 2x4 crossmember and position it where you want the gong to hang. No drilling or permanent mounting hardware is required to attach the hanger to the 2x4. Once positioned, connect your chain or rubber mounting hardware and gong target to complete the setup.

For a complete stand, pair the hangers with the 2x4 Gong Stand Brackets and standard 2x4 lumber.

Safety and Usage

Minimum shooting distances are determined by the target plate used with these hangers. Always follow the safety and distance requirements for the specific target and cartridge combination.

Inspect the hangers, 2x4 crossmember, chain, quick links, stand components and target before every session. Replace any component that shows deformation, cracking or excessive wear. Always use quality eye and ear protection and mount targets according to Shoot Steel specifications.

To qualify for warranty coverage, targets must be used and maintained in accordance with Shoot Steel safety and distance guidelines, including:

• No steel-core, armor-piercing or tracer ammunition
• Minimum recommended distances observed at all times
• Target mounted to Shoot Steel specifications
